Hello and welcome to the June issue of 9 of Swords! This issue is all about "Fantasy!" From surreal fantasies to dark fantasies this issue has it all! Make sure to check out all the featured talent in this issue!

The art section of the magazine has really started to take off! There is so much talent we are proud to be showcasing! This month's featured artist is Susan Schroder, an amazing photograper who's work is absolutely breathtaking!

For the featured musician we are featuring the ethereal sound of Priscilla Hernandez! Priscilla is a multi-talented singer/composer/artist/storyteller who's work is absolutely wonderful in every area. Make sure to read the interview with this "sure to be famous" international talent!

Our featured writer this month is Melissa Mendelson, who's work is also amazing and ranges from Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Poetry, Fan Fiction, to journalism. Her work as a poet is inspiring and her featured story "Drageons" takes you into a world of fairy tale fantasy. You don't want to miss the legend of the Drageons!

9 of Swords is going through a lot of wonderful changes and will have a content management soon with many new features! So check back soon to see what's new.

Also, on a personal note I would like to dedicate this issue to the memory of the great George Carlin who in my opinion was the best comedian to ever walk the planet and one of my personal heros. Mr. Carlin never failed to push the envelope and will be dearly missed.

I would also like to offer very special thanks to my father, George Fusco for all his encouragement and support in my writing endeavors. My father is also the one who introduced me to George Carlin. I thank him for that as well.

I would also like to offer more very special thanks to my wonderful husband, and our music editor Adam Lane for putting together the new website that will be debuting shortly. Another special thanks goes out to Nicole Pederson, the 9 of Swords art editor who has helped me out a great deal with reviewing all the art submissions! So thank you very much Nicole. A special thank you, also to Priscilla Hernandez for completing a very detailed and awesome interview! Last but definitely not least I would like to thank the ultra talented featured talent this month for letting me showcase their amazing work in 9 of Swords!
