"Silent Fall"

The ledge broke beneath my feet
as I fell into the arms of the wind.
While my fingers slipped through nothing,
fear slowly crawled up my spine,
and I continued to fall down into the abyss
with my eyes staring wide into emptiness.
I suddenly crashed onto my bed,
and my ears echoed from the fall.
